About the role

Tyro Health is seeking a detail-oriented Integration Tester to validate the compatibility of our new payment card terminal across 50+ existing practice management system (PMS) integrations. This role involves systematic testing of payment operations, reporting functionality, and claims processing to ensure seamless backwards compatibility.

What you'll do:

• Execute comprehensive test plans across diverse PMS integrations using .NET libraries, JavaScript libraries, and RESTful JSON APIs

• Test critical payment terminal functions including:

• Terminal pairing and status monitoring

• Merchant detail configuration

• Purchase and refund transaction processing

• End-of-day reconciliation reporting

• Claims operations and associated reporting

• Document test results with detailed screenshots and video recordings of key functions

• Manage testing across varied deployment environments (cloud-hosted production, virtual machines, local installations)

• Coordinate with third-party vendors when issues arise

• Collect and provide transaction logs for failed operations

• Collaborate with Tyro Health engineers to identify root causes and perform retesting

• Create and maintain procedural documentation for major operations

What you'll bring

• Proven experience in integration or system testing, preferably in payment systems or healthcare technology

• Strong attention to detail with methodical approach to test execution

• Experience working with various software deployment types and environments

• Excellent documentation skills with ability to create clear, visual test evidence

• Strong communication skills for vendor coordination and issue reporting

• Ability to work independently following established test plans

• Basic understanding of APIs and integration concepts

• Familiarity with logging and debugging tools

Nice to have

• Experience with healthcare or practice management systems

• Previous experience with payment terminal testing

• Understanding of .NET, JavaScript, or RESTful APIs

• Experience creating procedural documentation
