Position Overview
Working under limited supervision, the Judgments Coordinator is responsible for managing the publication of Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia judgments to ensure all judgments from the Court are published within the correct standards.
This is a high-volume, high-pressure role that includes regular liaison with judge's staff as well as managing Judgment Publication Officers.

Duties
- Support judges and staff during the judgments creation process, including trouble-shooting first-level judgment template issues.
- Manage and coordinate publication of incoming judgments to AustLII and distribute to legal publishers within agreed timeframes.
- Deliver training programs and participate in the creation of eLearning modules.
- Manage Judgment Publishing Officers.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of judgments subject matter and advise judges and staff accordingly, applying diplomacy, tact and discretion.
- Anonymise judgments and oversee the distribution of current awareness notifiers.
- Participate in projects relating to judgments e.g. new judgments publication system, new judgment template releases.
- Recommend changes to systems and processes in order to improve efficiencies e.g. changes to the judgment style guide and communicate to judges and staff, as required.
