HVAC Project Manager (Residential & Light Commercial)
- $110K–$130K + Vehicle Allowance + Referral Bonus
- Airport West, Melbourne (does it matter where they live as long as they are able to get to the office when needed)?
It’s for someone who understands HVAC. Someone who can read drawings, manage budgets, and keep builders happy, while making sure the system works, not just fits. You’ll join a well-established HVAC contractor with 35+ years of trading history and a tight focus on residential and light commercial new builds. Projects range from $50k to $500k, with some up to $1M. The team is stable, the division is growing, and you’ll be a key part of that growth. What’s On Offer:
- Base salary: $110K–$130K (depending on experience)
- Vehicle allowance: $17,000 annually
- Commission: 2% of gross profit on completed jobs

- Lead HVAC install projects from tender through to handover
- Prepare and review costings, proposals, and documentation
- Liaise with builders, architects, site teams, and subcontractors
- Coordinate design and installation activities to ensure quality
- Track budgets, manage variations, and hit margin targets
- Keep all stakeholders informed and issues dealt with early
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years’ experience delivering HVAC projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple jobs
- HVAC trade background preferred (you’ll need to know your kit)
- Strong commercial awareness and sharp attention to detail
- Calm communicator with the ability to lead, not just chase
