The opportunity
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Fund Accountant to join our Fund Operations team within Corporate Services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of daily unit pricing, investment valuations, and financial reporting processes. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external service providers, including the Fund’s Custodian, to support governance and compliance across investment operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Validating daily unit prices, investment returns, and portfolio instructions
- Onboarding new investments and fees into the unit pricing structure
- Reviewing and reconciling unlisted asset valuations
- Maintaining accurate general ledger and executing month-end/year-end processes for Special Purpose Vehicles
- Supporting statutory reporting and distribution calculations
- Enhancing procedures and governance frameworks
- Collaborating with stakeholders across Investments, Financial Reporting, and Corporate Services
About you
You’re a qualified accountant (CA or CPA) with experience in superannuation, fund management, or custodial services. You bring strong technical knowledge in accounting, unit pricing, and reconciliations, along with:
- Advanced Excel and Power Query skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A methodical approach and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret market events and their financial impact
