Role

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals to overcome barriers and achieve their goals. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering person-centered care and promoting independence, well-being, and quality of life for our participants.

Daily tasks will include;

• Provide high quality occupational therapy assessment and intervention for clients.
• Develop intervention plans, including short and long term goals, in line with the client’s NDIS goals.
• Good communication, by ensuring integrated service delivery and follow ups, coordinating and communicating as required.
• Incorporate holistic approach to health care according to community and organisation priorities.
• Ensure all information are recorded accurately and in timely manner in the electronic health record system.
• Work closely with support coordinators and referring clinics to track the clients progress.

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or Bachelor/Master of Occupational Therapy
• Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures impacting the delivery of services to people with disabilities
• Completion of the New Worker – NDIS Induction Module
• Current membership with the Psychology Board of Australia (highly recommended)
• Completion of continuing education courses
• Drivers Licence and Car

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably working with NDIS participants
• Locum role with a lot of flexibility
• Excellent hourly rate
