Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and inspiring Art Instructor to lead engaging art classes for students of various age groups and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in visual arts, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for nurturing artistic expression in a supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver art lessons in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media
Teach foundational techniques and advanced methods across a variety of art mediums
Encourage creativity while helping students build confidence in their artistic abilities
Prepare lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and student needs
Provide constructive feedback and individual guidance to students
Organize student exhibitions, art shows, and collaborative projects
Maintain a safe, organized, and inspiring classroom or studio environment
Stay current with art education trends, tools, and materials
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate attendance and evaluation records
Collaborate with other educators and school staff on cross-disciplinary activities
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field
Proven experience as an art instructor, teacher, or studio artist
Strong portfolio showcasing personal and student work
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching art
Ability to work with students of different ages and backgrounds
Familiarity with both traditional and digital art tools is a plus
