What’s the opportunity?
As Business Development Lead, you will play a key role in driving growth by building relationships, securing new business opportunities and expanding our reach. This is your chance to make a significant impact and build a pipeline from scratch.

What will you do?

  • Identify and target new business opportunities through research, networking, referrals and outreach in government, business and mid-market segments.
  • Build strong client relationships, understanding their needs and positioning our services as training and editing solutions.
  • Manage the sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, using CRM tools to track progress.
  • Develop strategies aligned with market trends to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product and editing teams to create compelling client value propositions.
What experience and skills do you need?
  • At least 5 years of proven success in business development or sales, ideally within the professional services or soft skills training sector.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience selling to large businesses and the public sector.
  • Proven success building a sales pipeline from scratch and skills prospecting for new clients.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and pursue high-value opportunities.
  • Experience using customer relationship management and sales tools effectively.
  • A competitive, results-driven mindset and excellent negotiation skills.
