Description
The opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated podiatrist (minimum 3–5 years clinical experience) to join our supportive multidisciplinary team as an independent contractor under a sub-contracting arrangement. This role will be pivotal in establishing and growing our after-hours private podiatry service at healthAbility.
We offer flexibility to start gradually — for example, one Saturday per month — with the opportunity to increase your client load as demand builds.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide high-quality podiatry care to full fee-paying clients in line with professional standards.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Work collaboratively with other health professionals to ensure integrated, client-centred care.
- Support service growth by building and maintaining strong client relationships and referral networks.
Skills And Experiences
Our ideal candidate:
- Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate clinical experience in podiatry, preferably in private practice or community settings.
- Proven ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport, motivate clients, and foster positive relationships.
- Commitment to professional development and evidence-based practice.
