Objectives
The Business Analyst will have two key objectives, however pending the progress of the project it may evolve:
- Document and analyse the current process and workflows ("as-is") for both products as well as our financial system and our reporting and analytics.
- Work with the business to identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Highlight potential efficiency opportunities - Mapping all steps to identify cost to serve, efficiency gains, value creation and future iterative / continuous improvement opportunities.
- Define two future-state ("to-be") process and workflows.
- V1: A detailed process maps that ensures we continue to meet the needs of our customers and business goals.
- V2: A high-level conceptual process map/flow that provides a direction for future requirements based on cost to serve, efficiency gains, value creation and continuous improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure connection between the business’ requirements and delivery. Support the project leadership in managing the messaging to and from the business and delivery squads. You will be responsible for providing guidance on future state, development of project artefacts and process mapping across the modules in scope and will work closely with the team resources and internal stakeholders to support the design, testing and deployment of the solution.
This includes:
- Leading the BA effort by working seamlessly with stakeholders and product owner
- Working with the project team members and the business to deliver a consistent process for process design, including approach, documentation and methodologies.
