About the Role:
Looking for a career change? We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Area Manager to join a leading occupational rehab provider in Melbourne.
In this role, you will be largely responsible for supporting a direct team of people with the profit centre. Support your manager in a number of people activities including recruitment, managing onboarding, induction, and probation. Support the professional growth of all team members, ensure 1:1 meetings are completed regularly, ensure mandatory training is completed and collaborate with the leadership team to assess staffing needs.
You will also be responsible for supporting the Area Manager to undertake business development activities and supporting the direct team and profit centre to achieve quality assurance metrics in line with service level agreements.

About You:
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in Allied Health
- Relevant Professional Registration
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in occupational rehab and consultancy services with demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
- Skills in delegation, developing, leading and empowering others
- Demonstrated experience in client relations
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, working collaboratively with other senior management and providing strategic advice to senior leaders
- Demonstrated experience in operational management including skills in delegation, developing, leading and empowering others to create high performing teams
- Advanced level skills within a Microsoft Office environment
- Understanding of the commercial framework of business
- Financial management skills to control expenses
- Proactively undertakes professional development to upskill and reskill as required
- Current driver's licence
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
