Reports to: Senior Pastor & Worship Team Leader
Location: Campbellfield VIC 3061
Start Date: Flexible (Immediate start available)
Days/Week: 1–3 days (Weekdays, Friday night rehearsals & Sunday service)
Commitment: Minimum 3 months
Type: Unpaid Internship (12 weeks under Professional Internship Program)

Position Overview This internship offers hands-on experience in live audio production within a dynamic church environment. The Audio Technical Technician will assist in setting up, operating, and maintaining audio systems for services and events. A key focus is learning and mastering the Behringer X32 digital mixer.
Ideal for those with 1–3 years of experience in sound production, this role suits proactive individuals passionate about sound engineering and enhancing the worship experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with live sound setup, FOH mixing, monitor mixes, and rehearsals.
• Operate and program the Behringer X32, including scene management and routing.
• Maintain audio equipment and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with the worship team and train new volunteers.
• Support audio needs for special events and multimedia content.

Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in live sound or audio tech roles.
• Familiarity with digital/analog consoles (especially Behringer X32).
• Understanding of signal flow, microphones, and live mixing techniques.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Passion for ministry, learning, and using technology for engagement.
