The Role
As a Contracts Administrator, you’ll work closely with Project Managers on the financial, procurement, and contract management aspects of live projects within the health and education sectors. These are detailed, compliance-driven environments where planning, communication, and documentation are critical to success.
This is not a support-only role, you'll be empowered to run key contract and procurement activities, negotiate with subcontractors, manage financial risk, and ensure commercial performance across the board.
The Builder
Located close to Melbourne's CBD, this well-known, established new build and refurb company specialises in medium sized projects for new builds, commercial fit-outs, and building renovation, often within the $5-$25M range but occasionally pricing projects to the value of $40M, and with aspirations to continue growing their average project value and establish themselves as a larger tier builder.
They’ve been working across a range of sectors, including:
- Health/Medical
- Education
- Hospitality
- Commercial buildings
- Government & institutional
Are you suitable?
We’re seeking a CA with experience on institutional or government-backed commercial construction projects. You’ll need a sharp eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while keeping commercial goals in sight.
You’re likely to tick the following boxes:
- Experience working as a CA on health, education, or civic construction projects - for a Head Contractor (Buildings experience required, not Civil/Infrastructure) - required
- Must be based in Melbourne with Australian working rights (PR or Citizenship required)
- Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset and a solutions-focused attitude
- Secure longer term stints with former employers, highly prized!
