Exciting opportunity for a Wet Fire Project Manager Market leader in the construction industry for 40 years Excellent salary package, flexibility and WFH options
The Role
As a Project Manager, you will plan, organise and control the cost, program and technical aspects of the projects. You will lead the project team in financial, program, and safety aspects to ensure the site operates with the necessary resources to complete the project, while managing costs and maximising profit for the business. The role will require you to work in partnership with all employees across the business as well as clients, subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project sites.
The Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage tasks in line with project requirements
- Management of scope changes
- Engagement of key subcontractors is required for project delivery
- Management and coordination of the project delivery program
- Preparation of cash flow forecasts and project budgets
- Management of labour requirements (in conjunction with the Labour Manager)
- Reporting of project status and attendance at client meetings
- Documenting and administration of projects through to closure
- Reconciliation of project invoices to the budget
- Client liaison
- Supporting business development processes
The Skills & Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management in a commercial construction environment
- Experience coordinating contractors and trades
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure and deal with time constraints
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve on the spot
- High attention to detail
- Good leadership skills with the ability to work independently
- Sound computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office & Bluebeam, with the ability to draft construction programs
