They deliver developments ranging from boutique townhouses to premium apartments, with individual project values up to $80M. Every build is underpinned by meticulous planning, disciplined delivery, and an unwavering commitment to quality for the end purchaser.
The Role
As Development Manager, you’ll be the driving force from concept to completion, managing apartment projects to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest design and construction standards. You’ll balance strategic development oversight with hands-on delivery management, keeping momentum and accountability at every stage.
With a strong pipeline of four projects ready to hit construction in the next 6 - 12 months, you will be picking up the projects from the infancy stages.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Delivery: Manage the full residential and mixed-use development lifecycle, from town planning through to handover and purchaser liaison.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with architects, contractors, and consultants to achieve design integrity, commercial outcomes, and functional excellence.
- Program & Budget Management: Keep projects running to schedule, within budget, and at the highest quality level.
- Risk & Compliance: Proactively identify potential roadblocks and ensure all projects meet planning, legal, and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Property and/or Construction
- 5+ years’ experience in development and project management for apartment projects in Melbourne.
- History of letting the main contractor specifically in tier 2 & 3 builder space.
- Proven track record delivering projects on time, on budget, and to premium standards.
- Strong knowledge of Melbourne’s property market, planning regulations, and construction processes.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
